Butterfly Brilliance

 Good evening,

Just a quick show and tell from my Facebook live tonight

https://fb.watch/3Jd2SjlbO2/

I used the new Butterfly Bijou papers, Brilliant wings dies and natural touch speciality paper. These will be available to purchase from the 2nd March 2021.  I also used the birthday greeting from the Approaching perfection stamp set that is free with qualifying orders.

I cut the butterflies from the paper using the large die and assembled on the 2 cards
The floral card uses the truelove designer series paper coloured with stamina blends in flirty flamingo and granny apple green.
I hope you like my simple projects.
Have a lovely and safe week

Happy valentines

 Good afternoon,

I don't normally do valentines, the day has become a bit too emotional for me since losing my soul mate.

But over on my Facebook page I started a sketch challenge and I decided to give it a go with the heart punches instead of circles.

I hope you like it.

I used a grey granite card base and the peony designer series paper for the mat and heart frame. I punched the smaller heart first and then I positioned the larger heat around to give me a frame. I punched a small heart from grey granite card and embossed using the greenery embossing folders. I used the punch party hostess stamp set for the small heart and inside I stamped a large heart and used the dsp heart from earlier.

Cheeky Chickens

 Hi,

me again I know 2 posts in one day. Just catching up and hopefully be better next week.

This is the written form of my Facebook live from Wednesday 10th February 2021

https://fb.watch/3CkrGYopJM/

Here are the the three cards I created live and two more I made later.

I used both the Birthday Chick  and The Hey Chick stamps  and dies.

I'm not to sure on the window card I need to play more with those dies, they aren't stamping up ones.

But I really love how easy the Chick stamps and dies make for some fun cards, these were really simple and just a little colouring made them pop even more.

Gilded Snails

Hi
I know this is late but I thought I'd share with you my makes from my Facebook live from 3rd February 2021 here is the link if you'd like to watch https://fb.watch/3Cj1IptViI/

In the live I showed you how to gild the snails. I used the new stamp and stick and the gold gilding leafing both from Stampin' Up!
The stamp and stick is an embossing type powder that once heated becomes tacky so that leafing or glitter stick to it. Like embossing powder you need a sticky ink like VersaMark to get it on your project. I used both a blending pen to apply liquid VersaMark to the areas I wanted the stamp and stick to be. I also used a versamark pen to do the same thing, just to show that you can use a variety of methods.
As you can see from the pictures I added the leafing to the shells and mushrooms and from the designer series paper I added the leafing to the moustache as well.
I really enjoyed doing something a bit different and I hope you have a go at using the new stamp and stick and gilded leafing on your projects.

Thanks Donna

Snailed it !!

Good afternoon
I know I haven't blogged in a while I hope to get better at this.
I am going to blog the cards that I make on my Wednesday night Facebook lives so you can see the project and the dimensions. Obviously if you wish to see me create this then head over to my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/kevonacrafts/
Its a live as it comes I have no fancy set up/ camera and most of the time just craft in the flow.

So here is todays project.
Have you tried the new slim cards that are trending right now? I don't know the exact dimensions so I have just used a 8 1/4"x 4 1/4" card base and for metric that's 21cm x 10.5cm.
I popped a white mat on the front which is 20 x8.5cm or 7 3/4"x3 1/2"
Then I die cut 3 apertures from a piece of white 18 x7cm or 7" x 2 3/4"
I stamped and coloured the snails from the Snailed it stamp set available from the January to June mini catalogue 2021 from stamina up.
before I assembled it I placed some designer series paper behind the apertures.
Some of the elements are raised and other are stuck flat to give some interest.
I hope you enjoy my Snail cards.
