Highlighted spot card
This is a highlighted spot card.
You need to have 2 images that are the same.
Firstly I stamped the floral image from the Blended Seasons see on two pieces of whisper white card (9.5cm x 13.8cm) with black memento.
I used my Stamparatus to ensure that both were exactly the same.
I then coloured one in using my Stampin blends. Colours are lovely lipstick, granny apple green and pool party.
I then punched out several different sized circles from the coloured image.
The circles were then fixed over the black and white image using dimensionals to give a bit of texture. ( I used the waste piece to help with the positioning)
This was matted onto a piece of granny apple green card (10cm x 14.3cm) and then onto a standard portraits white card blank.
If I were to do this technique again I’d make 3 images and then the waste piece could be used to make another card.
Thanks for stopping by.

Blended seasons round up
Blended seasons stamp set
Well this has been a fun week playing with the new limited edition stamp set and die bundle Blended seasons.
This set and the water colour pencils are only available whilst stocks last or until 31st August 2018. (10pm Uk time)
And I've been creating with it all week. I have made cards and 3d items and something special for Christmas which I will share soon ( and will be running a mini 3 week course getting ready for Christmas, this will be by post and in person and is designed for you to utilise your own stamps or you can purchase a complete kit with the stamps I've used more to follow).
If you like this stamp bundle or you like watercoloring and want more pencils that match your stampin up inks then be sure to place your order early to avoid disappointment. Plus if you do place an order for this bundle Stampin' Up! are giving vouchers for £4.50 for every £45 spent and these are redeemable in September.
Here is the round up of projects I have made just this week I think I've only scratch the surface of the possibilities this bundle has to offer.
Don't miss out and forget to order your set before it runs out.
If you have it already or when it arrives please share your creations with me.
P.S. the pencils are a separate item and do not come in the bundle so if you do want them add the item number149014 to your order and use host code JBRENZM7.
PPs you could join my team by adding this set and the pencils to a starter kit. please email me for more information or head over to kevonacrafts.

Colour combo week 6: Blended Seasons
This weeks colour combo is
Grapefruit grove, merry merlot and pool party
Here i've used the blended seasons stamps and watercolored the background.
I didn't find this easy and I may try again using shimmery card rather than watercolour card.

Pineapple punch, rich razzleberry and poppy parade
A simple fold back card using the designer series paper and the varied vase bundle.
Hi
I'm entering a challenge so have created these projects,
I have created this table place setting using old olive card and the Blended Seasons stamps and dies. I have coloured the images using stampin blends in old olive, poppy parade and soft sea foam and added a touch of wink of stella. I created the poinsettia using the small leaf stamp from the Rooted in nature stamp set, in merry merlot and old olive. I fussy cut the leaves, shaped them and added wink of stella to the merry merlot ones and a faceted gem in clear. Before attaching the poinsettia I added some embossing using the seasonal wreath embossing folder
I'm entering a challenge so have created these projects,
First are 3 cards
This is a card using the colour coach, Grapefruit Grove, poppy parade and night of navy with a touch of mossy meadow. I have used the painted harvest stamp set stamped onto ww card, matted onto night of navy card and finally mounted onto a piece of whisper white which has been embossed with the tufted folder and sponged with poppy parade. Finished off with a Poppy parade mini striped ribbon bow and a tag from the wood crate framelit tied on with some copper thread.
This card uses the Colour my season bundle. The floral image is stamped and coloured using the watercolour pencils then the image is cut using the label dies. It is reassembled onto a night of navy card using several layers of dimensionals,
Finished with white organza bow.
This card uses share what you love and subtle designer series paper, lined alphabet stamps and dies, beautiful bouquet stamps and dies. I've used petal pin ink, soft sea foam and mint macaron.
I've cut and shaped a flower from the paper and added a punch leaf.
here they are on a white background
Now for a scrapbook page of our holiday last year to Peru
Scrapbook page of Peru holiday.
Here I have used layering edge thinlets, bubble over stamps and framelits, Pick a pennant stamps with Birthday fiesta framelits and stamps. Sunday tutorial. Monochrome card
Hi everyone this is my second Sunday tutorial. Sorry no video
This weeks card is a simple monochrome card using Crumb cake and very vanilla
The first step is to create a portrait card blank this is a piece of card 14.8cm by 21cm folded to make a 14.8cm by 10.5 cm card blank
The second step is to cut a piece of crumb cake card 13.3cm by 10cm and emboss with an embossing folder of your choice. I’ve used Tin tile dynamic from Stampin Up which will be available in September.
Tie a ribbon around the bottom portion for this I’ve used a spotted tulle
Next I’ve cut the middle label die from the stitched seasons framelits and stamped the wheat image and the ‘wishing you all the best’ sentiment. These are from the Blended Seasons stamp set. I’ve brushed the stamped image with a little water to make it a little softer and then attached it to the card with dimensionals voila clean and simple.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this tutorial.
If you need any supplies please head to my shop or just ask.
