Good morning.
Just had to share a project that has been in my mind for a while ( well it was supposed to be Christmassy but)
I purchased these lovely little coasters from Joanna sheens site. A set of six.
I painted them using tester paint pots from wilkinson in chalk white, milky coffee and yellow.
I then stamped each of the ladies from the beautiful You stamp set from stampin up, twice.
And a matching sentiment.
I painted over the whole thing with creative expressions glaze and sparkle to finish.
I've decided that on the reverse I'm going to stamp something more vibrant from the fiesta stamp set. So I can have 2 looks to choose from.
And I have a set of the round coasters that will be my Christmas set.

For those that want to follow this blog I think you need to view the page as a website view ( bottom of page let's you see what view you are in)
Then on the right hand side at the top of the page you will see my profile and there should be a google follow button.
I will check that this works later.
All for now.

Sue Wilson gum ball machine
Happy Saturday. This is my second blog post.
When Sue launched this die set I just had to have it. I ordered mine from Joanna Sheen's site and it came within a couple of days.
You need the die set and various components. A handle, a foam insert and a treat cup. All items are linked to the gum ball die on Joanna's site.
Following Sues instructions on the packaging, which are really good, you can also watch Sue on youtube https://youtu.be/O2EH7wE_qjM
I added one of the accessory dies to the background.
My adjustments to the instructions are that I used the tray slot die to cut the refill hole in the back and extended it a little. I found that gave a better finish than me trying to cut a slot by hand.
I filled this one with tic tacs but I made another and filled with gum balls. I added a card stand to help it stand but it is quite thick so stands quite well without. For my second make (sorry no pictures) I made a box base for the back which covers the sides and therefore hides the foam core. It was fiddly so I will have another go but for that one I needed to post it off for my nephews birthday.
Sue is also demonstrating this on Hochanda today at 11am.

Beautiful You
Good evening.
Finally got a bit of mojo to create a few cards using the new Stampin up stamp set Beautiful You. I was inspired by a paper pieced version of this stamp sent to me. So I have used that idea and made it my way.
Firstly I stamped the image onto cream paper twice I trimmed them down in size. I then stamped the same image onto 2 different coloured/patterned papers this makes 2 cards. I cut out the umbrella the ladies top and the skirt from the patterned papers. I used a craft knife on a glass cutting mat but you could use scissors. I then glued a pink umbrella and skirt and a blue top over the main stamped image. I inked around the edge and matted and layered up. For the second card I used the opposite pieces. I then assembled the cards finishing them of with flowers, pearls gems and the sentiment.
This is my first post so I hope you like my cards.
